Micro documentaries are my favourite medium. Working across all areas of production, I am able to develop strong stories and really understand the people I work with and the stories they share.
This format provides an opportunity to work across a tremendous cross-section of society - from large organisations to individuals. The flexibility of my setup has allowed me to cover everything from educational films for farmers, artists profiles, indigenous projects and environmental stories.
My work in broadcast television covers a number of roles including: editor and edit assistant and the odd camera operator or camera assistant role as well as data wrangler.
Working with both commercial and public networks from Australian and overseas -I've been lucky to work across a variety of productions from documentaries to Reality TV. Networks include: ABC, Ch10, Ch7, Ch9, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Granada, ITV, ARTE and German TV.
I have a great love of photography and started with stills before moving to the moving images. This comes in handy as location and portrait photography are often an important component of my projects.
Commercial clients include: Red Chilli rock climbing shoes, Eureka Tents, Teva and Mountain Designs. My photographs from the 2009 Laura Festival were exhibited as part of a touring exhibition in conjunction with the State Library of Queensland
